A neighborhood which is clean, safe, healthy and a pleasure to view improves the quality of the life of every member of the community. Since their inception, Garden Clubs have had the betterment and beautification of their communities as one of their main priorities.

The Landscape Design Council is organized for active Consultants (who have completed all four courses and who must retain valid certificates through periodic renewal) and for Provisional Consultants (who have completed two courses). Consultants promote better land use, recognize good landscape design practice, publicize superior design examples and stimulate public intrest.
